I have never heard of anything like this before. I thought it was such a great idea. I tried it and I loved it. I loved being able to control the purpleness of my shampoo and conditioner, while being able to use my favourite shampoo and conditioner at the same time. It did not dry my hair out and toned nicely. Because I could control how much purple was added, it meant my hair didn’t get over toned. When my hair is over toned it becomes a dirty shade of blonde rather than a clean blonde. I will be buying this again. You Also only need a little bit so I feel like this will last me a while. 

Don't get tricked by the name. Asians do love it!
